There’s no such thing as one size fits all when it comes to mattresses. Because we’re all different, finding the right mattress is a very subjective process. That’s why Harrison Spinks makes a wide range of different mattresses, so you can find one that suits you. When you visit one of our stores, our advisors will be more than happy to help you. They have a great deal of experience helping customers find the right mattress.
Pillow top mattresses are designed to offer ultimate comfort. The toppers feature layers of spring technology and natural fillings to provide support and a more sumptuous feel.
A turn free mattress only needs to be rotated from time to time, saving the need for heavy lifting. These single sided mattresses feature a high spring count close to the sleeping surface, for outstanding support and comfort.
Featuring Warm Side and Cool Side technology, this type of mattress helps you to regulate your body temperature all year round. Simply turn your mattress twice a year with the change of the seasons. Insulating layers will keep you warm in the winter and breathable layers will keep you cool in the summer.
Harrison Spinks mattresses are suitable for use on bed frames with a slatted base. If the gaps between the slats are more than 75mm, you should consider using a baseboard or under mattress. If you have any questions, our advisors can help.
If you have a divan base, it’s important to make sure it’s in good condition as your mattress will contour to it. An old, damaged base could be detrimental to your mattress.
You should remove dust and fluff from your mattress every few months using a soft brush. Never use a vacuum cleaner, as this can displace the natural fillings in your mattress. Any spillages should be dealt with immediately and absorbed using a dry cloth or paper towels. Should you need to sponge the mattress, we advise that you use a damp cloth and very mild solution of soap and water.
It’s advisable to turn or rotate your mattress regularly during the first few months, and roughly twice a year after that. Harrison Spinks mattresses are very heavy, so if this is a problem for you please don’t worry. This is just a recommendation to help reduce body impressions. Not rotating or turning your mattress won’t impact its performance or affect your guarantee.
We recommend the use of mattress protectors, as they can prolong the life of your mattress while protecting from stains and spillages. A quality cotton or wool-faced mattress protector is best. Plastic or waterproof mattress protectors could lead to damage by creating condensation.
It’s recommended that you air your mattress regularly, by leaving the duvet folded back for a few hours each day.
Wool is naturally hypoallergenic, so Harrison Spinks mattresses are suitable for people with allergies.
